It is 22c and grey with a slight breeze.

@shiney How strange you used that word ... here it is today in our news ...

No Baixo Alentejo, foi Barrancos que registou mais pluviosidade ... In Lower Alentejo, it was Barrancos that registered the most rainfall ...

@Victoria I tend to use words as they pop into my head. :noidea: It comes from reading rather a lot of books per week. I reckon I have read somewhere between 15 and 20 thousand books. A few words stick :loll:

My day off today, so I've been planting the last 36 of the Daffodils among the Lavender in the front garden border and just as I got to the last 3 I could feel tiny drops of H20 falling from the skies and, just as I finished it started raining and is still doing so now.
So at the moment it's raining with a total rainfall, so far, of 6mm, the temperature is 55.9f, there's virtually no breeze, and the pressure reading is 985.6hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

I wish I could say the same Pete. It's raining here and we don't need it, there's been more than enough over the last few weeks. Wet all day again but calm. The temperature hasn't moved very much over the last couple of weeks. Both day and night temperatures have been similar. 10C/50F

My garden is disappearing under leaves. With rain and wind combined on it's way, there'll be a lot of raking to do.

                                Just my little joke;)

I had enough rain over a month ago, but we do need it.

I remember when I was young we lived nextdoor to an elderly couple, he filled his whole garden with carrots and parsnips every year.
If we had two consecutive days without rain he would always say "we could do with a top shower".
Never worked out what a "top shower" is.:biggrin:
