WHATS YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2020

The rain is here! It is now making up for the years where it has been lacking!
Currently 15c with thunder and rain, sometimes heavy, going to 20c. We are under a warning till 5.59pm. It all started yesterday. We have never seen so much lightning ... and we have seen some storms in Alabama! The weirdest was at 8.15pm last night when T'other Half went to make popcorn that the hail storm arrived, the noise was deafening like we had a tin roof rather than terracotta with concrete ceilings ... and it was 18c degrees!

Rain and storms forecast through the weekend. Bring it on, we desperately need it!

We have had a break from the rain but it's just coming back. I am sort of where the red dot is, wind coming from the Southwest. There is a storm there in the yellow blob ...

A sunny afternoon with a bit of cloud and a gentle breeze from the east temp 8c.
It's sort of a bit warm in the sun but in the shade and the breeze makes it cooler.

 

Well, after a half decent day its now raining, I give up.

 

Another beautiful day here. Sunshine with a mostly blue sky and completely windless. Temperature in the garden sunshine was 16C/61F.

I put my hanging baskets away yesterday.

 

After some heavy evening rain and a few light showers in the wee hours, it is blue skies, sunshine and 15c going to 20c. Rain still forecast for the weekend but we'll take it however it arrives. The rain we've had has been well appreciated although some areas have had flooding nearby.

 

Sun shining, not a leaf moving, even the birds are hiding, all a bit eerie really.
