      I had a day off work today and drove to Wem to take my Sister shopping in Shrewsbury and although the Sun was out, the temperature only got to 45f, but at least it stayed dry and windless. The low arc of the Sun really can make driving more difficult when, as I was, you're driving continuously "into the Sun" as you end up with a near permanent squint and hope that you can see everyone on the road.:dunno::heehee:

      Right now it's still dry, although the breeze is picking up, the temperature is 43.7f and the pressure reading is 985hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

                The rain started around 11.30pm and had some bursts through the night. It just started up again and will continue on and off throughout the day. Rain forecast again for Saturday then nothing more this year/beginning of next!

                It is windy too, SSW 26 km/h, gusts of 37 km/h.

                    Heavy rain is expected all day today, although so far it's still dry. Looks like it will be a case of dodging the downpours when gardening today.....boots and waterproofs are ready and waiting!! So much I want to do out there.... I have no choice but to brave the elements.:dunno:
