We had heavy rain and extremely strong winds howling around the house. The wind started to ease by 6.30 and there's hardly a breeze out there now. The rain has stopped and I shall check for damage later. Our road is closed at the moment as a tree is down. I had no intention of going anywhere anyway :heehee:

A fine day looking out the window but only 5c going to 15c.

I got up at 3.15am as nature called and it was so chilly I put the underblanket on low.

Nice and bright now with the sun coming out but the breeze is picking up a bit.

All is well as I scan the garden outside but a few puddles that can't drain away and still a heavy, leaden sky.
Lots of birds about - around the sunflower seed feeder.

Heard the storm howling last night, someones shed roof is in the middle of the road this morning. Bits of polycarbonate sheeting strewn about. Had a little damage, a pile of spare roof tiles blown over. No big deal , they were left over from my garage build project.

What a night, the neighbours had a Trampoline blown in their garden, one of my Plastic growhouse covers was ripped off.....been looking online for a replacement cover with no luck.
Stopped raining now with very little wind, oh the Sun is out.

Well, Storm Bella came from the SouthWest and as the front of my House faces North I didn't really hear the winds blowing that much. A look in the South facing garden revealed no damage and my Green House was fine.:love30:
Right now, the skies are blue with some cloud, while the temperature is 39.6f, the total rainfall from last evening until now is 13.2mm and the pressure reading is 952.5hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Woke to a thin layer of snow this morning. The day has been grey with the clouds ever threatening and more snow is due overnight. 0C/32F
