0c clear-ish sky but no frost, last night i thought that this morning was going to be a hard frost with lots of ice but no

 

Blue skies and sunshine but only 5c going to 15c perhaps. It was very windy yesterday and there were a couple of very light showers. Because of our trees/shrubs and the outdoor living room (detached from the house, 20 square meter ex-chicken run) on the south side of the garden, we get little sun on most of the garden hence our temperture a few degrees cooler in our garden than elsewhere.

Bet that was as clear as mud!

We have reached 12c and it is all blue skies and sunshine but we have wind from the
North at 17 km/h with gusts of 24 km/h making it rather uncomfortable if one pokes one head outside. Just read we are to expect this weather into the new year. Brrrrr. I sure don't miss the UK weather.

Heavy snow all morning but a slow thaw helped to stop it settling in any great amount. A grey afternoon and more snow promised overnight, 1C/34F.

Off out to shop today was a bit of a slippery drive along my road with black ice in various places. Even though it's a single track road it's gritted, being a bus route.
