5c dry-ish bit of sun

 

Sunny and dry, temps of 8C with a low of 3C tonight. All masked up and off to my Dad's now to do his housework chores.

On January 8th my first post on this thread noted it was 10°C , today it is currently 6°C rising to 9°C. There is a stiff to strong easterly wind, which is the worst direction for me as that is straight off the sea (about 1 mile away and a couple of hundred meters down) and I have no shelter on that side.
The weather will continue like this into Monday, but may be sunny intervals.

Wild and wet, cold and grey out here; offshore island Ireland. NO gardening or walking today as it is as they say here, " Down for the day " in true Irish inimitable fashion. Going to have to light the fire which I NEVER do in March, and glad I still have a little island turf left. met ie admits to 3 degrees.

 

We've got gorgeous weather predicted for the next 5 days or so, albeit meaning nippy nights...but that is OK by me!!

Hopefully that will lift everyone's spirits .

Bloody freezing! First couple of days with no rain and now there is a stiff cold breeze preventing me pottering in the garden.

 

Gales along the coast again from the east but mainly sunny 8c.
