A bright but cloudy day with the winds coming in from the NorthEast so it felt really cold in the places where the winds were blowing across. The temperature got up to 56f but in the wind it felt more like 36f:hate-shocked:, but it stayed dry at least.
Right now the temperature is 38f, with the winds still coming from the NorthEast, and the pressure reading is 1029hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Rain drops on the East facing window but the wind has dropped so doesn't seem so cold.

Intensely appallingly COLD. I was very briefly outside, and no way a walk or early pottering out there. Takes the breath away. Back abed with a hot water bottle trying to get warm. Old age stuff feeling the cold this badly! SHIVER ME TIMBERS! Glad I brought the seedlings in last evening.

Sun's up with fluffy clouds as company but the wind isn't fierce and the patio is dry.

Sunny and very windy. I haven't ventured out yet to see how cold it feels but the greenhouse will be warm.

Drawing the curtains back only to see some fine snow coming down !
No wonder everyone else staying in bed .

Nothing settling now the suns come out and the temp is up to 4c from its nighttime low of 1c.

                              BRITISH SUMMER TIME?

A mix of sleet, snow and hail stones bouncing off the top of the mini greenhouse!
Wind's picked up and the thought of a stroll down the road to the 1066 path sounds somewhat daunting.
Off to make a blackberry and apple pie instead methinks,
                              Stay safe and well,
