No need to apologise @Upsydaisy, I chose to live here. We've been getting lamb snow on and off. So called because it falls just as the lambs start to appear. Poor little souls, they must be shivering. I think we're due for some heat next week but I won't hold my breath. :)

Yes, most of us have a choice about where we live. @Sheal that is interesting about the lamb snow but as you say, very sad that it is so frequent, it has a name.

It was very mild here today at 50f. Cloudy and gloomy but it suited me just fine as I did some shopping for a few people and the lines, although not a throng, seemed lengthy due to two 2 meter distancing plus a 20 minite wait made me glad I did it today and wasn't wasting sunshine :)

Being further north the lambs are born later here than the rest of the country @CanadianLori, but the snow never seems to miss a year and usually it's in April as they are born. It doesn't last long, just showers over a number of days and generally doesn't settle.

Thank you Upsy. We have had a very dry winter when we should have rain to top up our dams (4 in Algarve) ready for our Summer when we go five months with no rain whatsoever. It is a curse for Britain at times but a real blessing for us.
