Fog overnight and this morning which cleared fairly quickly. A grey sky all day but completely windless - not a twitch in the trees. 10C/50F

It's only 42F here but the sun is out and its warmth can be felt. It's going to top 75F today so I shall need to be careful and only work with my back to the sun. :) My forehead got a bit tingly yesterday :rolleyespink:

Sorry, don't do sunblock as it doesn't agree with me. :dunno: When working in the garden I usually either work in the shade or with my back to the sun. When on holiday, I use a fold up umbrella.

Currently 16c going to 21c. Enjoy the bonus sunshine my British friends ... it probably won't last long! Here we plan to be cloudy with possible showers, cloudy all weekend then thunderstorms till Wednesday. I don't mind ... the garden and more importantly the dams need it after an unusually dry winter. At least we know we will have a hot and sunny Summer.

You can use a babies one that is vigorously tested against causing or provoking any unwanted reactions..:dbgrtmb: I once had a child in my care whose skin was so very delicate, never known anyone like it, her skin was like tissue paper and reacted to everything going her sunblock was on prescription from her Dermatologist at the hospital.....maybe a way to go??

Thanks but I've got used to my routine of avoiding direct sun too much. I've never liked hot sunshine and have never sunbathed. Although we go to all these hot countries, and I worked in S. Africa for two years, I manage quite successfully. I did used to go swimming (but not for the last 40+ years) but then moved into the shade except when having photos taken.

Me in S. Africa just a few years ago :heehee: Not much of a suntan for two years out there.

Just back in from the garden where the temperature is 66f, the skies are a hazy blue and there's no breeze. The pressure reading is 1013hpa and after making a mug of Tea and a Pint of Orange drink, I'm out in the garden again.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:
