Dry at the moment but heavy rain and gusty winds return later. High of 12C.

 

I'm fed up of getting soaking wet and blown to blazes when I walk the dog. Anyway, Good morning everyone. Have a good day, wrap up warm and dry and above everything stay safe and well. God bless.

 

When we went out Tues in the pouring rain we passed a woman dressed in full waterproof gear walking her dog down our lane..... hubs and I both said we had never seen such a sad and miserable looking dog in our life!! She was all cosy and dry but her poor dog was soaking!!

 

Weird here now, 14c to start the day going to 18c with a sunny day forecast, rain (showers) returning in the night and tomorrow morning. We had only light rain yesterday morning for a brief period. We need serious rain for the land as most of Algarve is agricultural ... where it is not golf courses and beaches ... and the golf courses (35 or so of them) drains the substructure with boreholes. The mountains need the rain for the forests. Being a sunny location most of the time does have its downfalls.

9am this morning drag the petrol rotavator to the top of the mountain; wait until I started breathing again in order to fire it up; rotovate the wildflower meadow patch; put rotavator away after cleaning the tines; 10am come indoors to die.

Raining and very windy. Yes we get fed up getting wet walking our 2 goldies and trying to dry them off.
Never mind next week it will be drier but colder, i don't mind that it's better than getting wet all the time. :windy::windy:

I've just returned from shopping. Very wet thanks to Blackie; dark; miserable and gloomy; just another normal day and I'm still here to fully appreciate it. :rasp:

Light rain today but cooling down. High of 10C and a low of -1 .....a bit of a shock to the system!!! A couple of nights ago we had a nightime low of 12C!!

Off to hunt out our extra long hot water!!
