Bit of blue, bit of bright cloud, quite still and 14c going to 18c. Possible light showers later.

 

Sunshine and gentle breeze is today's forecast with a high of 12C and most importantly......a low of 1C tonight.
No more minus nights are on the cards for the foreseeable future.

Currently 2C ( feels like -1) but lets disregard the ' feel likes' shall we.

 

Oc to start, now sitting in the sun, still cold in the shade 11c 52f.

Looks like we have a few days of slightly better temperatures before the cold winds come back the middle of next week..

 

Light cloud and light winds from the east north east temp 8c

 

We are 19c and the day was great then clouded over an hour ago. Then thunder rumbled around and we had the most ungodly jump up out of your seat bang and crack! Lights stayed on but TV went off and internet. T'other Half discovered we blew the Ethernet Switch ... how strange, he had a spare one.

The last time this happened was some years ago we got hit by lightning (a blue flash in the Foyer) and we were without internet from 6-26 December. We were staying overnight at a friends house and got a call saying they would be with us in half an hour! We dashed home and got here minutes before them. Apparently most of Algarve was out and Engineers came down from Up North.

Insurance paid for new equipment (it got fried) and PT (Portugal Telecom) gave us credit for no service.

Storm has now gone fora and it is pleasantly raining.

 

Another lovely day here with the addition of a light breeze. There's still a bit of a nip in the wind though. 12C/54F

Once again a lovely sunny morning, High of 14C and ( I was too quick to rejoice!!!) the minus temps are back..a low of -1 tonight.
