Another freezing morning, another dry day, another freezing morning forecast for tomorrow and no rain forecast until 1st May, when there's a 23% chance of a few hours of light showers.

If we have no rain at all this April, surely that's got to beat or equal any previous record?

Then it's turning colder again after 2 days of slightly warmer temperatures.

Just out of interest, last April I recorded 32mm of rain.
Last May I recorded 1mm of rain.

So it's kind of following a similar pattern, dry springs are becoming normal.
Put this way, if it was raining every day, that wouldn't be right either.

My pet hate is the frost, we didn't get that so much last year, so would like to get rid of this northerly flow which to me is the biggest problem.

12.5 Deg in my garden polytunnel at the moment, but I've still brought 19 trays of plants back indoors as it's forecast to go down to freezing yet again.

The howling north wind eased up today, so it felt beautifully balmy in the sun :) Down to 2C by 7am tomorrow, though.

Yesterday started very frosty but ended up with hot sun and then cold again as the sun went down.

This morning was frosty but not as much as the last week but we have fog :rolleyespink:. Sunny and warm forecast.

Our forecast says we are in for a beautifully sunny day again once the fog disappears. Currently at 0C but can expect a high of 16C and an overnight low of 1C.

Can't spot the horses or bunnies this morning!!

It had better start warming up as I have a haircut booked for this afternoon!!!
