WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

It was warmer outdoors than indoors.

 

Yes Pete, there's still a bit of a nip in the air. We started with a frost this morning but sunshine soon saw that off, so another lovely day with a slight breeze. 15C/59F

 

I am extremely excited. The last day of near feezing temps is Sunday night!!!! So, I'm thinking on Tuesday, ever cautious me, I'll be moving a lot of the seedlongs from the heated greenhouse, into the unheated to start hardening off for then being planted out. And bringing up the hot peppers to the heated greenhouse.

The last of the snow melted off the deck this morning. A sure sign of spring instead of sprinter

Another sunny day with a high of 17C and an overnight low of 3C.

 

5c no frost but there was some ice on the birds water bowl

 

Well bright, sunny, dry, with a stiff breeze from the east so a max of 14°C.
Similar for the next few days.

It is somewhat lightly overcast with a slight breeze, 15c going to 20c. Still forecasting thunderstorms but not a lot to see on radar.

 

Another day of brilliant sunshine I think, but wind getting up now.
Probably shouldn't complain but no warming up going on for the next week at least.
Still stuck under cold air so can't discount frost yet.

 

We so need some rain. We are now having to draw water through the mains due to our water collection reservoirs being bone dry.

Had another wild fire yesterday in the Lakes, Whinlatter forest nearly went up in flames yesterday.

Bright sunny day but still have the strong north/north easterly winds that we have had for over a week now. 13c.

 

We haven't had rain here for several weeks now, that's unusual for spring. Everything is wilting. I never remember having to water bulbs before but I've had to do it often this year.
It's quite breezy today too and that dries things out quicker.
