Starting the day at 17c going to 29c with I hope breezes.

Sunny and cloudy now

 

It is 26c now and quite still with a real feel of 29c already. I got my 20 minutes sitting in filtered sun but am now in in the cool for the afternoon.

 

Yep the forecasters are wrong, very little cloud and I'm getting 27C 80F.

They said it would be 23c

 

We are forecast to have temperatures in the 90s F this week with high humidity. I put the shade cloth on the greenhouse and this is the earliest I can recall having to install it. It blocks 45% of the light but the tomatoes are still getting in excess of 5,000 footcandles which is fine. I also wet the floor so evaporation cools the greenhouse, so it is in the 80s F there at the moment. I also purchased a small pool just to cool off in the afternoon. In the meantime, the air conditioner hums day and night much to the delight of National Grid.

It is 95.9f - and @pete one the guessers over here got it right! The other two predicted in the low 80's.

And tomorrow is supposed to be about the same but the guessers say the skies will darken and give us free water and in turn cool things down.
