                  a little stroll around the garden noting the weather forecast is correct,
                  our veggie plot had plastic for months..the weeds are very productive here..Mr. W took the plastic off..said it was an eyesore...:gaah:

                      We have two sections with the plastic. It's there all year round. We grow the veg through it and in the Autumn we roll the plastic back, dig in compost and then replace the plastic. No weeds and the ground is warmed up for early planting. :blue thumb:

                        makes good sense to me, but then its always me that does the digging, reserve the roles and the opinion I know would change that:lolpt: bad attitude of Mr. W.:catapult:
                        Our veggie plot was a huge mound, typical of the area to do a building job and leave some memories behind, we had four and the last one is nearly gone now..I have done them all myself.:cool:
                        Mind was messy really plastic sheeting was just laid out and had planks of wood all over it to keep it in place..the planks have yet to be assigned a new home...:yikes:
