WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

It's a warm sunny day again in Carmarthenshire and all my pots need watering I couldn't do it this morning because I had to go out.
It must be in the 20s, because after I came home I took a coffee out to the patio but had to come back in, it was too hot to sit there

The plants will have to wait and wilt until later ...

 

@Jiffy weeding is great for de-stressing. You can curse at them before ripping the out!

It is only 80.9f today and very muggy and overcast. We had a lovely thunderstorm last night and the little rain barrel filled up (40 gallons) and the same amount went into the bigger barrel. I'm going to fill all the watering cans from the little guy to make room for tomorrow's forecast rain.

One thing good about lousy weather is that it forces me to stay inside and... spend hours looking for a remote control! I've never done this before, picked one up, used it and not put it back where it belongs

 

Never did rain but remained cloudy all day.

I dont believe it.
Just listened to the local forecast.
The stupid person said it will be a humid night and difficult for sleeping.
At 13C, is she bloody stupid, its only been 16c today as it is, where do they get these people from.
I've got a fan heater going.

 

I seldom listen to the forecast, they're always wrong, they can't even say what it's doing now never mind what it's going to do tomorrow.
Why have they got all those computers etc ? They obviously don't work, or if they do the forecasters can't read them properly.
According to the BBC forecast for this village it is at present cloudy and 11 C ... WRONG ! it's sunny and hot even at this time of the evening.

 

I worked with someone many years ago who was qualified as an Air Traffic Controller and went to work as a Weather Person ... I understood they required the same qualifications.

 

I put a thermometer on my patio (in the shade) a while ago and it now reads 21 C, and it's about 20 past 8 p.m. ... so you see, they are wrong.

 

Well the weather people got it right for us, they said cloudy but no rain and that's what it was like.
