After a few clouds building in the afternoons recently today is different in being totally cloudless and less humid.
28c 82F so a bit down on recently but very pleasant as a bit more breeze also.

          Hi,

Thanks wiseowl; yes I got there in the end; it's this heat; I'm not used to it.

30.5C whilst I've just visited the tip. Being a dinosaur I seem to remember about 70 years ago our summers then in Yorkshire were so hot the sun used to melt the tar on the roads sticking to everything even the soles of our shoes and the council would come round spreading sand?

          Kind regards, Colin.

It's been the same as yesterday, sunny with a bit of cloud but nothing to write home about, to hot to do anything.

Well the 'slightly less hot' didn't last very long, the thermometer I put in the shady corner of my patio read 36 C earlier on and there isn't a breeze, it's very uncomfortable.
I can see a few clouds over the mountains in the distance but we have blazing hot sunshine here. It's like being in an oven.

Sunny and cloudless with a gentle breeze until late afternoon. It's now completely still outside. 20C/68F

It's still fairly clear out there tonight....just creeping above the tree line.

Great photos @Sheal, the moon is very low in the sky these days.
I've not long come in from watching the ISS go by, It goes fast !
                          It's a beautiful night.

Thank you @Michael Hewett. I usually use a tripod when taking pictures of the moon but there was no time to set it up as it rises quite quickly. I'm fairly pleased with the shots - the camera hand held of course.

The moon is lower in the sky at the moment but it seems even more so up here as the sky looks lower all year round, being much further north.

I've seen the ISS pass here a number of times too. :)
