      I never did very much, but when your talking around the world using a beam antenna or just a basic vertical antenna the signals will fade in and out at times and things like 73's are used a fair amount and maybe a handful the rest I have never read let along used..mine you I have never transmitted via morse since having to learn it to pass the exams. now it is not a requirement and the renewals are now free each year.The weather influences the hobby...very much so...73's Shiney:biggrin:

                      If I had some sun I would share it with you gladly @ARMANDII :SUNsmile: but it's been quite elusive this last couple of days.

                      Snow again last night. Today there has been a slight thaw with the temperature managing 3C/37F for a while. It's been grey and windy with a couple of wintry showers.

                                We're going to have another lovely sunny day today.

                                At the moment we have a thick covering of frost and the temperature is 0 ( feels like -3 :blue thumb:)
                                Should reach 8C at some point with a low tonight of -3 tonight.

                                Looks like we've lost our heavy snow fall for Sunday now and are just in for a light covering....boo hoo......love snow!

                                2nd lot of laundry is now done and waiting to go out......got to make the most of lovely drying days in winter!!!:heehee:
