WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

It's raining right now with a gentle breeze from the south west temp 16c

 

I don't bother with the forecast anymore....just stick my head out of the window as of late they've been completely wrong.

Today looks a bit grey and as if rain is lurking nearby. Temperature wise not cold as we've still got all the windows open!

 

Clear blue sky here.
That's a bad sign.

 

Well, we must have a good sign....thick cloud. See we don't need forecasters!

 

It is 18c, bright with a fresh breeze going to 28c.

 

Mainly cloudy with the occasional patch of blue. A brisk sou'westerly and the patio is wet from an early shower.
Not much chance of getting the loungers out for a tan top up....

.. I was right with my 'lurking ' observation ......we have rain. Nothing to this weather forecasting malarkey.....

 

See pete, you're blessed with being a gifted forecaster too! Like wot I am, it's a rare talent.

 

It's cloudy now, most of the blue has gone and the wind is gusty.

I was right in my prediction I believe.

 

An old neighbour of mine used to have a saying (and maybe you've heard it too)
"Sun before seven - Rain by eleven" I've found it is often true, or at least the sunshine doesn't last long when it comes early, whereas a misty morning will clear to a sunny day.

 

I thought it was going to that old one about the Welsh hills.

"If you can see the hills over there, its going to rain."
"If you cant see the hills over there, its raining already", I never could tell a joke.

 

This is what I've heard @pete, when we went to visit my aunt in the Mumbles and looking out across the Bristol Cannel they used to say "If you can see Devon it's going to rain. If you can't see Devon it is raining"
Never heard it about the hills, but I can assure you it's true

 

I had the back door open when the heavens opened, even the dining table got a good soaking.

 

It is steadily tipping it down...looks like a NETFLIX binge day....
