15c heavy drizzle with a bit of mist

 

Just seen the forecast for today, she said, make the most of the sunny start as it will cloud over as the day progresses.

Looking out the window, its solid grey clouds?

If they don't even know what the weather is like now what do they think is the point in telling us what it will be like in two weeks time.

 

A beautiful pink dawn at 5.30am but 10 /10 th light cloud now. Very still and calm but there has been a heavy dew overnight.

Looking out all looks very promising, sun is out . Very muggy night last night. Feels warm outside.....well warm by our standards...not Vicky's or Giri 's.

 

We are starting with hazy sunshine and 24c. They say we are going to 29c but they keep saying 28-29c and we go to 32-33c. We are under high heat warnings the next four days when I plan to mostly hibernate.

The extreme temps are so very scary and worrying. How people are coping is utterly amazing!!
It's the very old and frail that I desperately worry over .....and all the lost and terrified wildlife caught up in the fires.

 

That sounds quite horrible @Victoria. It's cloudy here but still shorts and T-shirt weather. There's a slight breeze but it feels nice.

 

Well, woolly shorts and T-shirts anyway.

 

At 6am we had drizzle but now sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 20c.

 

Loving the weather here today, 20c, sunny and very breezy but I simply can't summon the motivation to do any gardening, hopefully will feel more like it this afternoon. Got 3 large bags of MPC, two large of grit and a bit of sharp sand delivered yesterday, so at least I'm well-prepared!

We are already at 32c and it is quite still. Sitting indoors in the a/c looking out.

Heatwave sun came out at 3pm and went in at 3.05pm, god,it was roasting.

 

We are up to 34c ... but it is nice and cool playing cards indoors and looking at plants online I shouldn't buy.
