WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

It's cold out there.
Started out at 11c and now just pushing 13c.
Feels like, November.
Looks like November
So it must be, November.
Only 5 weeks to Christmas.

 

Just finished the housework and was oblivious to what was happening outside, I was taken by surprise to see a soaking wet garden!! Just checked out our forecast and there's no mention of any rain!
I think it's stopped now as I can see glimpses of sunshine so I will venture out and see what damage I can cause.

 

If this is winter then I won't complain!!

 

It's overcast but bright here this morning as if the sun is trying to come out (needs to try harder !) and although there's a breeze it feels warm.

 

But it's supposed to be summer, so I will.

 

It is 30c now so a/c just went on. T'other Half has gone for a big English breakfast (the full works) for lunch with our friend John. I have no desire to sit in the heat for several hours so I will join them for a drink when they get here 2.30-3.00-ish as it is T'other Half's birthday today.

 

I must have slept through the rain that came down last night as I didn't hear a thing! The sky is lightening some so I believe it will be one of those "intermittent" cloud days. It is humid and 74f. The guessers say that later the "real feel" will be somewhere up about 98f.

And something must be making the animals restless. The hummingbird feeder was ripped off the top rail and lay in the garden, the bird bidet was tipped over.

Perhaps the humidity is making it too nice for mosquitoes who in turn make it nasty for animals.

Time to make sure the electric fence is working properly..

 

I love it. Would go well with @Selleri 's bird sunchair at the beach.



We rarely have mosquitos, possibly because we are surrounded by thousands of citrus trees.

 

Update on the fire ...

"Active fire with six fronts. Total evacuated - 81 people (12 different locations). Beginning of return of the evacuees to their places of origin; A22 has been reopened to traffic. Reinforcements from Lisbon, Beja, Évora, Leiria, Santarém, Lisbon Vale Tejo, Aveiro and others to Loulé. Fire with an expansion rate of 650ha/h - Perimeter of 43km - Area of 9,000ha - Potential to reach 20,000ha - Priority is to consolidate the entire perimeter - Removal of 80 dogs and 110 cats from one kennel and cattery - Meteorology similar to yesterday (high temperature, intense wind) - Today there is a concern with the wind rotation. Causes of the fire still unknown. Investigation by the Judiciary Police."

Gosh Vicky sounds horrendous, Thoughts go out to all those caught up in it all, and hope all will remain safe and sound, to all.

I don't know how or if this is affecting flights into Faro which is to the left.

And the motorway closed ...

 

Wow!! That looks awful!

 

So is that traffic going stay at a standstill until they put the fire out?
