Hazy sun again with 22c going to 28c. Yesterday we went to 32c.

There was a fire in Monchique yesterday and we thought one of the helicopters going there would clip our chimney it was so low and loud. They successfully got the fire out.

 

Glad all is ok Vicky. It is very scary when they fly so low isn't it . About 10 years ago 2 ( what turned out to be ) dangerous dogs got loose and went missing for hours and as our area is all woodland and fields helicopters were sent in to do some sweep searches, they continued into the evening. They flew so low that we could see the crews faces so clearly. Pleased to report the dogs were disposed of. Left a couple of people injured though sadly.

It is 32c and not a lot of a breeze and what there is it is hot. This was supposed to end. One forecast says we will have rain tomorrow ... 0%!
