Mmmm..we're promised storms and rain tomorrow evening too, but sooo often the rain doesn't amount to more than a couple of millimetres. September is the driest month of the year here.

 

The perfume on the terrace here is Lady of the night, Cestrum nocturnum, + 3 Brugmansias + a Stephanotis and a couple of Jasmine sambac Even the mosquitoes are keeling over

 

Sunny with a gentle breeze, 20C/68F. Desperate for rain here too. I think our long, dry summer is going to break at the weekend.

Yes we need rain but at night not during the day, risk of thunderstorms but so unpredictable.

It can rain anytime it likes here, our garden is in a desperate state of thirst despite our attempts to keep it watererd...needs a good old soaking.
Hopefully it will happen around 7pm this evening when we are due both rain and thunder

 

The sun has broken the morning cloud, it is quite calm and 18c going to 25c. Looks like this is the norm for this month.

 

I'd like it to rain at night because we have to walk our Goldies 4 times a day.
