A slight thaw going on here with the temperature at 38.3f, and the Sun was out for an hour or two but has now retreated behind the increasing cloud cover. So, all the remaining snow and ice has gone from the roads but is still thawing on the roofs of cars and the flat roofs of Garages.
No breeze and the pressure reading is 1001.4hpa so a High pressure area is approaching from the West.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

A bit of everything and 5c, so slightly warmer than recently.

I don't do much housework, just a bit of vaccing.
I joke with hubby about the dust on the mantle piece, he puts his hands on it and makes a mark and i say you've spoilt it. I say that I don't dust because I'm saving the environment by not using the sprays to dust with.

                        Still cloudy and very cold.

Have to do mine every week ,can't bear not to, not that it gets bad nowadays with only two of us, in fact is doesn't look any different afterwards.:heehee: But I can rest easy knowing It's clean...just a habit I've got into and I have a good routine now that doesn't make it time consuming . Stems back to my working days when Environmental Health could drop by and have a look around without notice !! ( thankfully they never had too, but it certainly makes you check your fridge out !!:heehee:)

The other good thing is I don't have big spring cleans to do as it's kept on top off.....Spring is definitely garden time for me!!

Don't use sprays @Logan...damp cloth with either just water or a mix of water and white vinegar. Who needs sprays and chemicals.:dunno:

Sneaky feeling that's just an excuse:roflol:;);)

Well, the winds have now changed from West to East and I see on the Weather Radar that's there's a large patch of rain/snow on the way to us from the direction of Yorkshire:doh:. The temperature has stayed at 39f while the pressure reading is 1001.8hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

where is it warmer please:hotsun:...the Sun was very nice but too cold today again. I was ok gardnening in the cold until the rain made the ground so yukky..The mood hit me and I have turned these past few days to catching up on various hobbies..indoors..well almost, like to get some VitC and VitD as much as I can...So I guess the Canary Isles would be good... under different conditions.
