The gale here blew itself out in the early hours of this morning but we had some snow overnight.

That's still here as the temperature didn't get above freezing - even with sunshine for most of the day. 0C/32F

0C/32F is not that cold for a winter's day here @Upsydaisy. Vicky's current temperature would be perfect for me during the summer, I don't like the heat but do like sunshine. :)

Oh, and time to get the Asclepias potted and outside. ;)

Dont think it went above 5 c today, and its blowing a gale now and only 3c.
Been damp all day, but rain totals have been small.
Up till now I've only recorded 7.5mm of rain this month and 6 mm of that came over night last night.

Sun was setting as l was making the afternoon cuppa today , can’t wait for the days to start getting longer.
North east wind just starting to ease now.
It’s been like a fridge outside today , but wrapped up warm it’s good to get out.

Our weather calmed down this morning after a windy night.

Lost a couple of large branches off the beech trees on our boundary, one of which clipped the corner of an outbuilding, branch come off an old whitebeam at the side of the house. Berberis was damaged/ just about uprooted and a golden weeping willow snapped off. A roof tile came down so will need to get up and replace it with another, rainwater downpipe to repair as it got pulled off. Other shed door got damaged so it wont open properly now and the bonnet on my old wheelhorse tractor blew up and damaged the hinges, thankfully I found that last night before the wind damaged it any more. And my chainsaw is broken so going to have to go get a new one to cut up all these bits of trees.

No time for any of this at the min as up to neck in internal DIY, trying to put a room back together before christmas!
