I think one is predicting cloudy skies and the other one clear skies.

Heavy Snow in Ramsgate, surrounded by sand and not a shovel full on the roads or paths. Kent County Council are hoping the buses keep the main roads clear.

The only snow we've got is a 'dusting' on the summit of the highest hills several miles away. I would not miss snow or frost but I do enjoy a good downpour !

I was just starting to see green lawns again but more snow overnight has put an end to that. Apologies for the lousy focusing.

Wall to wall blue sky and sunshine today which has triggered a slow thaw again. No wind but it's still very cold. -1C/30F

Just got back from Lincoln....bungalow had a roof leak again. It had snowed quite a bit. Home now in Bucks and my goodness it is so much colder here. Its supposed to be -5C tonight. All water butts frozen solid, Small pond solid (i had to use a huge rock to break through it), the ground and pots are rock hard. I've just moved the olive tree and a bit of a more tender shrub closer to the house and covered it in a blanket.

                        brrrrrr

Have you got fish in the pond, I hope not, as breaking the ice with a rock can cause them concussion.;)

well remembered @pete I've got two-one big koi pond that has pump and bulb system and that is fine. No fish in the little "nature" pond-didnt want frogs or newts to get frozen in. Hope they were ok with the rock lol
