Cloudy with light winds from the north north east temp 8c feels like 7c

 

28f -2c and predicted to go up to just above freezing. And cloudy. I am so glad I don't have to work outside to put food on the table!

 

We awoke to falling snow. Just a few flakes but it was bitterly cold. 2°C at the coldest overnight but it is up to about 5°C now. The sun is out and if it wasn't for the biting wind it would be quite pleasant. There is about a 60% chance of snow tonight and there is a Yellow Ice warning in place until tomorrow.

 

Its brightened up here and we are getting sunny spells. 13c

 

It is sunny with some cloud, 17c but still very gusty with wind coming from the NW at 28 km/h gusting to 57 km/h so it feels cool out, especially in the shade. Both furries are in curled up asleep in the lounge.

 

Had a bit of rain but now just cloudy.

Its a bit manky out there now, had a couple of showers and 8c.

 

The price of petrol dropped by 10p today so I went out and scraped the thick ice off my windshield and went to fill up the tank. When I came back, the freezing rain switched over to almost freezing rain. Should be lots of ice rinks around tonight!

 

Woke to a covering of snow this morning which thawed quickly. Sunshine and snow showers all day and cold with the breeze coming from the north east. 4C/39F

I think 'manky' sums it up. Just when we thought spring had sprung, and we might get some fruit this year, the next four nights will be frosty with biting NNWesterly winds. It'll be 'cheerio' to the wisteria buds too
