Much cooler today 5c at the moment going up to 11c slowly. Overcast and dry. The wind has gone thank goodness, it's made a mess of my newly planted veggies yesterday.

John, I am not liking that the wind has made a mess of your vegetables ... but that it has gone!

The predicted rain didn't arrived but our overnight temps are supposedly going down to -2C tonight...:yikes: My poor seedlings out in the greenhouse, it will be a miracle if they survive.

We had a frosty morning and very chilly until lunchtime. It remained cold in the shade but warm in the sun so we were able to have lunch outside. The lounge, south facing and virtually all glass along that side, is now 82F

Well, that was, er, invigorating! Just had several hours of 85kmph gale from the west, which has obligingly pushed back upright all the trees and shrubs that were pushed over the other way last week  Isn't Nature wonderful? :gaah:

A chilly but quite bright day here with no rain/snow/sleet showers that I noticed! :) We had quite a bit of sunshine though now & then the clouds would cover the sun for a few minutes. The wind has been very light today but it was quite chilly in the breeze. We only reached about 8C max today as the winds came mostly from the North or Northeast. We are forecast possible frosts for tonight so I must dash off outside & bring the tray of tomato seedling in!
