Late here as I am having computer problems. Firefox won't load. T'other Half reinstalled but still won't so now using Chrome.

Anyway it is sunny here, 9c heading for 16c.

There is a fantastic blue sky and it is 12c but there is a nasty gusty wind from the ENE at 32km/h gusting to 60km//h.

Wall to wall blue and completely calm. High barometer setting at 78.4. " beau fix ". Almost the highest it has ever been.
12c on the patio where the full sun is shining on the face of the barometer.
                      Beautiful day indeed,

Seems like there’s no norm fixing for any lengthy time these days. Probably 11-12 today, and downscaled to only two sweaters when out. We’ve had a run of double digit temp days in Feb a few years back, but never in Jan on recollection. And the earliest bee sighting to date in the garden, having a fair old saunter round the mahonia. Stealing a well rewarded march on it’s still hibernating buddies.

Brilliant sun all day, and feels warm in the sun with it being totally calm, not a leaf moved all day.
                          7c, in the shade.

It was quite a nice day in the sun. Parts of the garden in shade still had frost till it got dark. It's hovering around zero now and forecast for a heavy -5c frost.
