Were you driving home from Yorkshire pete; if so you'll eventually warm up and stop shivering. I hope you're OK.

I was awakened at around 4 o'clock this morning with an icy draught coming through the slightly open bedroom window. The weather attacks me whilst I'm outside now it attacks me whilst I'm in bed. Breezy again as I type but with luck it'll turn into the usual wind. It's strange looking out of the kitchen window to see the patio dry.

We are starting this morning off with hazy sunshine and 26c. Supposedly we are only going to 29c with a breeze andI don't believe that for a moment ... but we'll see.

Hi,

In my earlier post I mentioned we still had a breeze this this morning but then as I walked into the kitchen and looked up the mountain the breeze's family had joined in so now it's windy again but as yet no rain so I'm rather disappointed.

I hope I don't sound to be knocking Yorkshire all the time; I love Yorkshire and for about three days each year if we have such a long summer Yorkshire is absolutely beautiful. There's nowhere else in the world I'd rather be than Yorkshire; it's home.

I'm about to wander into the studio to play with my violins; I don't fancy going out to be buffeted by the wind just yet.
