28c sunny with nice breeze, i'm nackered and inside now, just watched a load of sheep having their hair cut this morning, minus their coat they are all under the tree's to keep cool they've lost they're insulation

 

It's sunny with a nasty gusty wind.
Just touching 31c it certainly won't be a record breaker here.

 

39C in the shady garage. 46C in the sun. 26C in the pool The peaches are cooking on the trees Apart from the citrus, frangipanis and bougainvilleas, the plants are not looking happy at all. Even damp soil can't mitigate the sun stress.

 

What's your weather like...bladdy ridiculous....I'm from Yorkshire we don't do this kind of heat.Bet @pete has took his vest off

Been raining since first light. It started to brighten up at lunchtime but quickly turned overcast with further showers. 15°C.

 

Nar still got the vest on.

 

About 4pm I went out onto the balcony to see how my pots were progressing - needless to say the majority needed a good watering even though I practically drowned them yesterday in anticipation of the hot temps of today!

The tomatoes in the growbags were looking a bit "crest fallen" though I stuck a finger in the bags & they are plenty damp enough so I didn't water them. I expect they will pick up once the sun starts to set this evening.

It seems we have hit 31C this afternoon as forecast!

 

Sunny and too hot 32c

 

Hi,

Not sure what our temperature hit this afternoon because our thermometers don't read so high but for Yorkshire it was hot with a gusty wind. I went outside about an hour ago and the temperature has dropped like a brick; at the moment my computer says it's 17C even this is high for us but it's also quickly turning into the usual black hole; I think we're in for it. Now at 7:15 I'm about to switch on my desk lamp.

Sat quietly out on the patio...sun has set and it's comfortably warm.
The air is filled with various aromas of plants, a BBQ somewhere down the road and birds quietly twittering.
You cannot beat an English June evening like this can you ?
