I'd done the shopping and back home by 7:30 this morning; wall to wall beautiful sunshine warming up nicely even our prevailing breeze is having a rest; if only it was like this more often but I can dream on.

Hi,

Too nice to be in the studio so I headed into the front garden and have just come indoors wet with sweat; it sure is warm working in the rare sunshine; makes a change from a soaking with rain though.


The Crerastium has been beautiful again but started to get out of control so about a week ago I trimmed it back from the pavement but this morning I've removed the remainder.

Four big bags full now to run to the tip this afternoon but it's now tidy again and I've dug it over to remove most of the roots. I don't recommend digging in hot sunshine for fun.

Here's an update on our meadow at the top of the garden which we refer to as our mountain it being so steep. The bottom of the valley is about quarter of a mile from us but the top of the valley goes all the way up to Grange Moor.


I'm fed up of this climate; washed the car a couple of days ago and here it is again dirty; it's a black car immediately after being washed. GRRRRRR.

There's always jobs to be done.
