As I'm later in my posting this morning I can actually tell you what it's like outside.....beautiful. It was very cold and frosty when we left home ( 8am ish) but although still nippy it's stunning!

 

Heavy frost first thing this morning, but blue sky and sunny now 6c

 

It is not sunny but the cloud cover is thin which makes it a bright sky. And the temperature is 7f -14c and the guessers are saying it's going to be up above freezing by this afternoon because the sun will be shining. I have shoveled pathways to the greenhouses and barbecue which help these spots dry up and lose any "slip" factor. This will be great because it was a bit difficult barbecuing yesterday with the ice out there just waiting to slip me up!

Correction: I was reading the wrong forecast. Yes, it is -14c but no we won't be going up to freezing. The warmest we will get is maybe -10c.But the sun will still dry the surfaces out there

 

Still very sunny, looks like a spring day but it isn't.

 

It clouded over around midday and the afternoon was just a few sunny spells, the cloud has all melted away right on cue for a frost again tonight, could be the coldest one yet by the feels of it.

Max was 5c.

 

Cloudy for most of the day with some sunny breaks. The sky is now clear so I'll expect to see frost in the morning. 5C/41F
