        We had two or three minutes of light drizzle yesterday. Just enough to notice on the patio but not even enough to be worth bringing in the washing.

        Early this morning (about 5 a.m.) it was chilly enough (12C) for me to put on a coat whilst working out there. Now it's 28C at 3 p.m. and extremely hot in the sun. Gardening postponed until early tomorrow.

          It's lovely here, 25C with sunny intervals. A slight breeze and dry. The lawn is burnt to a cinder and I've had to rescue a few bedding plants, potted them up in a shady spot and hope they will recover to get planted out again when we get rain.

              Our damp air has got a bit damper but not damp enough to send Bella cat inside, she is lying under a shrub in the garden and looks nice and snug in the dry :smile:

                    We have got to 34c now, still inside with the a/c. Munch has just come in for the second time lying on the cool tiled floor. Boy is in The Jungle Room under a chair.

                            Only looks partly optimistic ... but I keep my fingers crossed for you. We don't stand a chance for months yet and it has been months since the last and that was just one short burst. This is not normal for us, well Summer is but we were forgotten in the Winter. :cry3:
