18c cloudy windy and damp, had a bit of rain in the night and it;s a bit drizzley now

 

Lot of clouds around but appears to be brightening up.
20c.

 

Might just give him a quick wave as I peddle past.

 

We've had some rain and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 22c too warm for a jacket to do the walks it will be just enough to wet the ground.
Got ready to take Berry out, stepped into the porch and wouldn't go any further because it was raining.

 

Hello all. We are starting the day with 22c and no breeze so the air feels heavy, heading for 30c. Last day of July but I still have August to get through ... roll on September.

 

It's a fresh morning with light mizzle and a soft mist over the hills ... it actually feels rather nice ... won't need to water the pots today

 

La, la, la, la.....I'm not listening to all this rain talk!!

 

Dry, cloudy,breezy and a lot cooler. Some tidying up to do so the job will be easier in this temperature,

Thanks so much @wiseowl it's kind of you. I'm sure you're right; if Bron and I moved next door to you we couldn't moan about the weather but it would be nice to try for a change. Bron's also says thanks for your good wishes.

I often say here in Yorkshire we have nine month long winters with three month long bad weather each year but at least I can't grumble too much because we've enjoyed a rare very hot short summer this year; the heat has taken it's toll on our meadows which I'll strim if they don't pick up soon.



Rain on and off this morning and dull but still mild in fact 17C for us is excellent and would be regarded as a good summer; I'm sure our friends further north have even worse weather than us.

I need to get the stepladders out in order to secure a drooping cotoneaster to the bungalow side wall but everything outside at the moment is soaking wet; if we enjoyed your wonderful weather @wiseowl I could get all the outside maintenance done much quicker but I have to work around what the weather throws at me; it's not long ago I felled 15 very tall trees working in wind and sleet; before marrying Bron lived with her parents at the valley bottom and the climate down there was much calmer and milder only a mile from us; oh hum I'm never bored. I feel a violin practice coming on.
