        Sunny, 79F/26C and uncomfortably humid with a breeze making it OK in the shade. :blue thumb:

            The mizzle has dried up, the mist has lifted, and now the sun is beating down.
            Result :- all the moisture is evaporating and I feel as though I'm in a sauna :phew:

              Sun is in and out after a cloudy morning.
              Pushing 27c .
              Ive reached the point where 27 feels just a nice temperature, if it changed now I don't think we could complain about this summer.
              But when it does change I get the feeling all hell will break lose.

                  Hi,

                  My cloud_0001.JPG
                  A bit different to the lovely pictures you've been adding @wiseowl I'd be very happy to do a swap. This is a picture of my personal black cloud I keep banging on about; it seldom leaves my company.

                  I've just secured the cotoneaster to the bungalow side wall doing it my usual hard way; up the ladder with my cordless drill in hammer mode; the solid stone laughed at it; down to the workshop collect my mains Bosch drill and again in hammer mode the stone shrugged it off as I tickled it so I declared all out war; back down to the workshop and collect my big mains powered SDS percussion drill; now the wall wasn't laughing at me as the drill bit rapidly buried itself in the stone; rubber strap and stainless screw with stainless washers job done just in time to put the kit away as the first huge drops of rain started to fall; it's not fully raining it was just tormenting me but I know if I dare go outside I'll be in for a soaking; a little rain falls into most peoples lives but mine is bountiful. Go away cloud and visit my friend @wiseowl whom I'm sure will appreciate a visit from you. :biggrin:

                  Kind regards, Colin.

                    Overnight rain which continued until lunchtime. The sun has come out in the last hour or so. Really quite pleasant.

                          @Retired you are indeed extremely fortunate to have your own black cloud but if I can change your black cloud to blue and sunny then so can you ,just try it for a whole day it really can help you with your negative disposition and general malaise:heehee::heehee::heehee:

                            Hi,

                            This is really good of you @wiseowl and highly generous of you; thank you. :) Me; a negative disposition;:biggrin: I live in Yorkshire where many of us enjoy our personal black clouds exchanging stories about them; having driven me indoors earlier with the cloud looking as if armageddon was imminent it blew over to torment me tomorrow as I'm sure it will. Rather cooler now and it's dried out nicely after overnight rain last night. Tomorrow is another day and highly likely with another silly weather forecast.

                            I've just been out sweeping the patio again; the overhanging oak tree is shedding tiny acorns so even the oak tree isn't feeling too chipper; I'd considered strimming the top meadow this evening but knowing the cloud was hanging around played safe in the studio. Life's good and I've a lovely brand new Yamaha YEV electric violin due to arrive tomorrow courtesy of my lovely wife Bron; I'm fortunate indeed only having our climate to moan about and I've had lots of practice with this.

                            Here's our forecast for tomorrow;

                                @Upsydaisy It's lovely here too, sitting outside watching the clouds, it's 21c at nearly 9pm, wonderful!

                                We had a second bit of rain around 4pm for 5 minutes enough to make the patio look damp. It evaporated pretty quickly.
