      Hi,

After adding my last post showing no rain in the forecast for over a week and asking where the rain was I found the rain as I looked out of our kitchen window; just a splash to soak the patio which is now about dried out but rain is seldm far away.

Just enjoying a mug of tea and catching up with mail. Nice to know my pet cloud hasn't deserted me. :)

      Kind regards, Colin.

            It's 28c again.
Despite them saying it would be cooler.

Heavy overnight rain gave everything a good soaking. Today is mainly bright with high scattered cloud and pleasantly warm.

Seeing that cow, got me thinking,
I'm beginning to think my lawnmower is spending more time unused than it does in the winter.
Are we heading for a situation where the grass only grows in winter and spring.

Narr, cold winters are a thing of the past, the climate change lot said so, just around the time they pointed out July has been the driest since 1935.:roflol:

The weather man today pointed out that we had a lot less rain in 1976.

Some parts of the country probably did.
I think it was one of those pointless average statistics.

Again a very similar day to yesterday & the day before & the day ... well I expect you know what I mean! The wind was a little lighter & the temps down a notch or two on yesterday. No rain & no signs of it during the next week or ten days either!

Yet the council gardeners insist on cutting dry grass that has only put on a couple of mm of growth since they last cut it - a couple of weeks ago! :rolleyespink::wallbanging:
