Wall to wall blue but it was 12c at 7am this morning. Night time temps. have been cool so far but getting hotter = 33c later in the week,

Still climbing , a predicted 34C next Friday now.!

 

It's raining, again. Since Friday the 29th July we have not had a day when it has not rained. Last Tuesday, I think, some parts of Cumbria had 100mm of rain fall, it rained consistently that day for 10 hours where I am based.

Never mind, we had an nice evening yesterday so lit the bbq, got some left overs and half a dozen jacket potatoes which my daughter has just demolished 2 of them with a tin of tuna.

 

It is 74f and very humid. Being only 8 in the morning, I believe the guessers when they say we'll be well up in the 90's. Same as yesterday when I had canning to do so I took a single burner outside so as not to fight with the air conditioning!

 

At least you look to have a reprieve tomorrow Lori, whaft your rain cloud over to us please!!

 

Sunny with a bit of cloud and light winds from the north west temp 25c

 

Overcast with a bit of drizzle and strong cold wind for most of the morning. Now the sun is peeping through and the temperature is going up but the wind is relentless.

 

This is our official temp but on our shaded kitchen patio it registers 28C

 

@Jocko I' ve been looking up forum members forecasts ( I'm just not use to sitting around...) ,and I'm amazed by yours and @Sheal 's it's the complete opposite to ours down south. You're definitely in need of some of our sunshine...shall we do an exchange...our sun ( not all of it.) for your rain..( not all of it, I don't want a monsoon!! thankyou) Deal??

The closest weather "station" to me is some 20 miles away and right on the Lake Ontario so I sometimes adjust to medium between "them and me" to try to be more accurate.

 

Not all at Lori ! On the national forecasts they're so general that you don't get a really true picture.
2 of our sons only live 4 miles apart in London but I'm logged into their individual areas...such a difference at times!

As it's too hot to do anything ( which I'm not use too) I'm touring around the country ( ok the world in your case and in looking up our friends around the world and relatives back in hubs country). It's a learning curve, I was interested to see where Danderhall was ( Jocko) as I'd never heard of it.

No point ' checking up ' as really local forecasts vary..like ours at the moment 28C here on our patio but the general forecast says 26C . My sister, just 5 mins down the road says the breeze through her garden is keeping her temp down at 24C.

I've also included some other family members and friends too....been to Sydney, The Bay Of Plenty NZ, Florida, Calgary, Strasbourg, Durban.....it very exhausting!!
