WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

Sunny intervals and light winds from the west south west temp 21c

 

We are at 28c and it is very breezy. I was out for 45 minutes before it gets too hot. The country is under a Red Fire Alert. It is forbidden to go into National Forests, on foot or by vehicle for the next three days. It is also forbidden to use farm equipment, combine harvesters etc, between the hours of 11am and 6pm. If it is essential you must get your Council's permission so they can oversee the operation. So far 25% of the Estrella National Park has been burnt since July.

 

We seem to have slipped back into what is normal for summer.
Lots of clouds around with just a few bright spells.
Nearly 23c.

 

Sunny spells, dry and fairly mild but still with the high winds which seem to be the norm here now.

 

Muggy ... warm sunshine is evaporating all the moisture from the rain and making it humid and muggy.

 

We topped out at 36c ... on the way down now at 35c. It has been and is very breezy so a hot wind.

 

Over the last few days our weather here has seemed more like a traditional warm British summer! Except for a brief shower some days ago we still haven't had any rain. We are just as dry as we have been for at least the last month! All the grass around here is light hay coloured & in more transited places it's completely worn away! I don't know what will happen to those places when rain finally makes an appearance - most likely they will become mud tracks but whether the grass will regrow in those place we will eventually see (or not!).

Today has been warm & dry once again with quite a bit of cloud cover. The coming few days are expected to remain similar as well. So NO rain!

Looking to the North what is now coming over, I just dont understand why this happens a lot of the time.

We went and sat outside at 6.30pm but back in now. It is down to 30c but that gusty wind is still there.
