Wow !! Jenny that is stunning.

 

As is often the case the heavy showers forecast (and desperately needed) never materialised and have sunny periods instead! 20c. They got the wind right.

 

Warm with sun and showers.

 

Cloudy for the most part today & occasional sunny spells. Less windy than yesterday & a slightly cooler & less humid feel to the day. We reached about 23/24C. No rain though. But we were forecast thunderstorms around 4am on Monday morning but the last time I checked the Met Office app on my phone they had removed the symbol though not the yellow weather warning for our area which was from 8pmm till 4am. They have put heavy rain in its place but moved it up to 2am on Monday morning! We shall see if they materialize or not - but I'm not holding my breath! (Nor am I planning on getting up between 2/3am to check! )

 

No rain whatsoever, warm and muggy this evening.

We do however currently have an active yellow weather warning for thunder.... all quiet at the moment.

It rained yesterday steadily and then heavily; first proper rain since Aprilish.

We had a bit of thunder/ rain about midnight but not for long. The yellow weather warning was lifted at 4am . Sunny start but more thunder is on our forecast but not any more weather warnings.

 

A brief thunder and lightning storm with rain about 1.40am .

Had some thunder in the night, heard some rain but it can't have been much as the ground is dry out there now. 18c.
