About 3pm yesturday the sky opened right up, car was in for MoT and went to get it, i've never seen so much water falling, the roads were drains and i've never seen water shooting out of a person hole (ex manhole) 2 feet into the air before, MoT station got flooded which i help to push water out of and car sat in a foot of water 15 minute later all gone, got back home thinking it would be flooded and it wasn't was dry

          14c.
I've not ventured out yet to check the rain gauge but I can see it and it's close to overflowing.
The torrential rain has been going on all night.
It's a pretty sad mess out there this morning.

We topped 30c yesterday. Starting this morning rather overcast although the sun was out earlier. There is a light breeze and 20c.

Just checked 50mm of rain yesterday, that makes 62mm since Monday.
Today's forecast is looking pretty awful as well.

We got the downpour last night. I was on my way home about 10.30 and it was raining quite heavily - and then the heavens opened. I can't remember the last time it rained that hard. Even with the wipers on full speed I couldn't see anything so had to stop and put my hazard lights on. I was wondering how long I'd have to wait but it was only about 15 minutes before it eased up enough to carry on driving. The roads were flooded.

I'll have a wander round the garden to see if anything needs attention.

Not raining at present which is just as well as our west side roof leaked and dripped through our kitchen ceiling on Wednesday after a cloudburst. Luckily a roofing company are here now replacing all the felt and rotten batons but I think we will get more rain today.

The sun is rising into clear skies and we are expecting to get up to the high 70's fahrenheit. What a bonus!!

18c with showers. My rain gauge was nearly full again, that's an inch and a half in a couple of days. My chrysanthemums have been flattened and the outdoor tomatoes are looking a bit sorry.
