WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

Currently it is 11C at 8.30am. A little warmer than yesterday but still dry. To rise to around 17C today but unless the cloud breaks significantly, I can't see that happening.

Still no rain overnight and the ground is very dry except in the shade. Plants that have been moved or planted out still needing watering. Nuisance!

On the plus side of things. 10 days ago I spread some autmun lawn food and no sooner than I had finished but the rain arrived. And lasted for around 24 hours non-stop! That was the last rain we had tholugh.

 

Managed to cut the grass yesterday, first time for ages ,as usual the mower wouldn't start.
Dropped to 8c overnight, only up to 9c now ,thin covering of high clouds.

 

Your knee must be behaving. Guess you had the staples out.

 

It was aching afterwards.

 

It is sunny, 24c and very windy/gusty.

 

Many swifts, house martins and swallows skimming near to coastalopen ground - catching winged insects to nourish them before they migrate south. This northerly breeze is just what they need,

Today feels rather October-ish ...

 

It is 29c, the sun is beaming in the lounge window ... and it is raining quite heavily with lots of thunder!!! We went and sat our front and within five minutes we had to dash in as the heavens opened! Not forecast and certainly not expected. We can turn the irrigation off which comes on at 11.30pm.

 

All day it's been sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the north west temp 15c but feels cool with the breeze.

 

We've enjoyed gorgeous weather today and it now down to a still very sunny 16C. Still warm enough to eat outside.

 

Enjoy Upsy. Our storm has passed and we are now 27c and humid so we will dine indoors.
