WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

The sky is now clearing after being a totally dismal damp and pooey day.
It wasn't cold just depressing.

 

Been a bit cooler today at 23°C, with a misty start, but pleasant for working. Forecast is for a hot and sunny few days..28°C/ 16°C. Maybe then we'll get some rain?? Maybe.....

 

We topped out at 26c, nice.

 

The sun just blasted most of the clouds away. Only a few puffy white ones left. The temperature did not rise one bit but then again, it was extremely mild for this time of year.

The day here began rather gloomy with a little mist. It looked as if it might've rained during the night but if it did I didn't hear it nor were there any puddles to be seen. Yet there were water drops on the metal railing that close the off the gardens of our block of flats. Whether they were from rain, dew or the mist I don't know.

Around noon the clouds did start to break up & let the sun through for a few hours but later they covered the sky once again! The wind has been lighter & not so cold today but it seems to have brought 100s of Harlequin ladybirds with it!

I first saw them as I went to pick up our granddaughter from school. When we got back home I showed her them, I wasn't sure at that moment what kind of Ladybirds they were. She wanted to pick one up but then asked me if they were poisonousness. I didn't think so but she insisted I look them up on my phone. So I did & the top result confirmed they were Harlequins but in the Metro newspaper on line there was an article that caught my attention - it said there was an invasion of Harlequin Ladybirds but they might be dangerous as they carried STD!!!

The day was lovely and very mild, the rain never arrived either. Low tonight of 11C.

Warmed up over night. Currently 13°C, 16°C light rain this morning, drier after midday.

 

The sun is up, quite calm, 18c going to 26c.

 

A quiet light grey day but little hints of blue are appearing.
11c on the patio now - looks promising ?
