Lovely outside so mild, feels really warm .17C

 

Not anymore...torrential rain now.

 

We had one 10-minute downpour. Currently it is 22c and breezy with bright overcastness.

 

Been dry up till now but clouds have been increasing 18c.

 

Bizzarely still 22c and brilliant sunshine. T'other Half lit a wood fire (free wood from our demolished deck). Lit one yesterday too. Also strangely both furries are in.

Didn't you take a picture? I sometimes take pictures of the sunrise or sunset form our flat as we get some good views of the sun!

 

We had some rain last night but I'm not sure when as I was in bed & heard the rain hitting our bedroom window. No more rain though during the day but plenty forecast in the next couple of days with possible thunderstorms! We rarely get them here but our daughter, who lives in a village only 5 miles away, often gets them! In fact only a few days ago she had one but the "batteries" had run down by the time the storm reached us at 8.3oam! We only had some very heavy rain that lasted about 10 mins. The rain did continue the rest of the day till about 2pm but not nearly as heavy.

According to the Met Office app we can expect rain during the last few hours of today. It also forecasts rain from 7am till 1pm tomorrow. We'll see if it really does last that long! There is also a 60% chance of a thunderstorm around 7pm tomorrow evening, again, we'll see!

The misery continues here. Fog for most of the day so the ground is still very wet and there's no wind at all to dry it out. The next few days aren't looking much better so raking leaves is still on hold. 12C/54F

It's been thundering all night and it's still going strong now.

 

11c peeing it down, T&L with heavy rain, anyway it a good test for the drains, so far no flooding from the heavy down pours, so the work on the redoing drains as worked so far
