27°C after a min of 17°C. Hazy sunshine with a strong breeze from the SSE. It would be such perfect bulb planting weather if I could just get a fork into the rock-hard ground Driving by the Garonne yesterday, there were birds building nests on the high spots of the river bed

 

20c again, very nice in the sun.
The Strelitzia is putting out next year's flower buds already, not unheard of but early just the same.
I think it has enjoyed the recent rain and mild temperatures, it was kind of dormant after it flowered this year, probably even a bit too dry for it.

Some light rain in the early hours with a strong wind that's blown for most of the day. Sunshine and broken cloud from late morning, 13C/55F. The second bout of leaf raking will be easier, they're all on one side of the garden.

 

We have had some days of calmer weather with a few very light showers occasionally. For the most part the last few days have all been very similar - sunny spells interspersed with lots of clouds & a few blue patches. The winds have alternated between strong & blustery to practically dead calm. The temps have been VERY mild for the last week of October with most days seeing between 16 & 18C!
