    It's been a strange winter up till now

    I see bumblebees most days and was watching a butterfly yesterday.
    Even though it's 6c out there it still feels warm in the sunshine.

          We had a heavy snow shower just before sunset. The temperature had now dropped to 1°C and everything is starting to freeze.

                The first of the snow showers arrived around 9am....

                Showers and sunshine continued until mid afternoon when the snow became more persistent. 0C/32F while snowing and 5C/41F in the sun. More to follow tomorrow and throughout the coming week.
