WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

Sunny and frosty here still but we are forecast clouds and a cold NW wind for the rest of the day. Temps will be well below freezing tonight.

 

It is strangely bright, breezy and 15c. Our heavy rain was supposed to begin at 1pm under an Orange Warning.

 

Brightened up this afternoon but not fully sunny, gave me chance to drag undercover the last few pots I want to get through the winter.
No heatwave 5C

 

Possible -5c for the next 3/4 nights so a few plants had to go in the greenhouse temporarily.

 

Its a bit nippy out there pleasant in the sunshine melted the frost but soon froze back over when it passed .

 

We don't have a temperature here now as according the the Met Office app on my phone it's now 0C! But we will be into negative numbers in a couple of hours till around 10am tomorrow!

It's been a cold day with lots of sunshine & the evening is much colder with a lovely full moon! The so called "Cold Moon" by the American Indians! It's also the last full moon of 2022. If you look up at it this evening you will see Mars very close by - it's almost at its closest point in its orbit to the Earth!

 

No moon here this evening Balc but cloud cover since late morning. No snow as yet, but possibly overnight when the temperature drops further. Currently 2C/36F which has remained static all day.

Very cold looking outside, we're dipping to -6C tonight.....hibernation time!!!

The BIG storm missed us yesterday but we did have 24mm rain between 8am-8am. At 7.45am had a 20 minute light downpour but has just stopped. Currently 12c going to 18c with showers expected under a Yellow Warning.
