Temps around 1c most of the day, sun not really out but brightish.
Not supposed to be so cold tonight, minus 1 I think.

Saw a forecast for 13c on Monday before it goes back down again.

Not much better now either! At least we are only -1C at the moment! :frown::rolleyespink: It's only 4pm so lots of time for the temps to fall to -3C once again tonight!

My son told me that at 5.30am this morning the temperature shown by his car was - 7C!

It's far too late for that, it will only damage them more. A few days after the temps return to a more normal level they should pick up again and be as if nothing had happened! They have been growing in the pots for a couple of months, so I'm not worried.

It is now brilliantly sunny and 28f -2c. :spinning:

@Sheal how is it where you are? I'd heard that things got bitterly cold and was a bit worried about the aggro you're going through.

It nearly got as high as zero today but is down to -5C now. Still between 6" and 8" of snow on the ground.

I'll put this here because its not worth a new thread as such, but does anyone still have apple trees in leaf, after over a week of sub zero this Bramley apple in particular is still in full leaf, it had a hard cut back last year so made some good strong shoots this year.

I think I picked the wrong week to decorate my house and garden for Xmas. I'm glad I'm not at work this week because its bitterly cold, slippery under foot and foggy.

It's probably because it's new growth, one of my blueberries has a new stem and the leaves are still on it but changed colour, but the others the leaves have fallen.
