WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

After -8C/17F overnight it's been a little warmer here today @CanadianLori. Thank you for asking.

Light snow last night and again this evening which settled on the previous snow that hasn't thawed. We've not had the amount of snow other parts of the country have, but according to the forecast it's going to be horrendous next Monday and Tuesday. 1ft of snow is expected Tuesday.

Today was clear and sunny again, 1C/34F.

A sharp frost and light winds from the north temp -4c feels like -8c

 

Noticed a big 4C difference today between real temps and 'feel likes' for everyone today around the country. . I always check out our brood 's weather forecast daily too.

We did have some light snow yesterday evening which is now covering the numerous frozen layers of frost that has accumulated ( and never melted) since last Wednesday.

 

Grey, calm, 15c going to 19c with a thunderstorm forecast for this afternoon.

 

Bright, lots of snow still laying around.
Minus 2c.
There seems to be a bit more wind today, some movement in the trees.

 

The sun has come out of hiding.

 

Yes here too...we have !!

 

On Monday we have ( at the moment) a high of 15C.!!

This is the big issue with anyone who suffers from arthritis or other similar joint aches and pains ...our variable temps !!! Lows of -8C ( in our case) then highs of 15 all in just over a week. We don't need them that high here at this time of year....even the poor wildlife and plants don't.

 

At least it will melt the snow quickly and get rid of the frost in the ground before the next lot starts.
The weather forecasters seem to be wavering a bit on how long the mild weather will last.
