WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

It is 18c and lovely and sunny and very breezy but haven't seen any rain yet..

 

Its been rather cold the past few days I've not really been out of the house . Snow forecast tomorrow and Sunday changing to rain . Finally the snow should be gone by Monday , I like snow at first but when its froze over multiple times and becomes ice everywhere and becomes a hazard I soon get fed up of it .

 

We hit plus 2c today which is pretty good but the snow is just not moving out of the sun, which is so low now its not that effective.
The snow is really mostly ice now anyway and is crunchy when you walk on it.

Would be nice to see the back of this freeze, its getting monotonous now, seems to be going on for ages, must be nearly 2 weeks now.

 

We are forecast minus 7c tonight....that's the lowest ever,

The solution in my screen washers is supposed to be good for -7C and it has frozen solid!

 

Been sunny all day and very very cold with a lot of frost.

 

-5c last night but a freezing, calm and sunny day reaching 2c.

 

Gradually getting milder, last night -7, tonight -5 and tomorrow night hopefully -2C .

Still have a thick frost covering most of our garden and surrounding fields.

 

-5C/23F early this morning, rising to -2C/28F for the rest of the day. Sunshine to start but...

 

Our weather is a case of "rinse & repeat"! We are having some nights of temps so low that it doesn't seem they can get any lower! Getting between -5C & -7C every night. Like others on this forum I'm getting tired of these continuing low temps!

The snow is hardly shifting & the ice is more & more treacherous every day!

On a bright note the sun has shone all day - even if there isn't much heat in it these last few days of autumn.

Sunday afternoon & all day Monday we are forecast temps up to 12C! We can roll out our bathing costume again!!!

So from here on in we will use your screenwash as a thermometer an hope it doesn't let us down.
